Our Saviour’s Church lies in the centre of Haugesund, near to the local museum. The impressive building, a key local landmark, is largely constructed of red brick. Particularly striking is its tower, which is topped with a copper spire and is 160 feet high. The church seats more than one thousand people. It is constructed in a neo Gothic style. Completed in 1901, it was designed by the architect Einar Halleland.
