The Otternes Farm Museum lies to the south of the village of Aurlandsvangen with spectacular views of the fjord. It is surrounded by mountains. The farm consists of twenty seven preserved buildings each of which serves a particular function. Traditional agricultural, domestic and cultural activities are recreated here in an authentic environment. Demonstrations of various activities such as spinning, weaving, dying, baking and brewing take place throughout the summer months.
