The Oslo Transport Museum lies a couple of kilometres north of the city centre, not far from Frogner Park. It contains a very large collection of historic vehicles. There are twenty five tram cars and ten buses on display. These include a horse drawn tram from 1875, another tram from 1897 and a trolley bus. There are a large number of information boards with photographs exploring the history of the public transport service. The museum has a shop. Guided tours are available by appointment.
