The Oslo City Hall Gallery is located in part of the monumental building that houses the municipal administration. This lies close to the banks of Oslo Fjord. The gallery entrance is approached from this side. The gallery is used for an extensive and popular programme of exhibitions which change on a regular basis. The exhibitions showcase contemporary Norwegian art and photography. There are also regular displays of the best in traditional and modern Norwegian design and handicrafts.
