Ole Bulls plass is a square in the centre of Bergen just to the west of the city park. It is named after the celebrated violinist and composer Ole Bull, one of several artists connected with the area. His violin is one of the prize exhibits in a nearby museum. The square was named after Bull in 1917. There is a sculpture depicting bull here. One of the best known landmarks and meeting points in Bergen is found here. It is the "Blue Stone", a work created by Asbjorn Andersen.
