Olden Church lies in a little village in Stryn municipality, near to the Jostedal Glacier National Park. The church was built on the site of a medieval "stave church", a typical Norwegian timber construction, which was constructed in the fourteenth century. This building was erected in 1759. Some of the timbers from the old church were used in its construction and will be of interest to visitors.
