The Norwegian Resistance Museum is located near the ferry port for Copenhagen, near the Armed Forces Museum and the Akershus Fortress. The museum tells the story of the everyday life in occupied Norway during the Second World War, and of the brave underground resistance efforts during this period. A wide range of original documents, posters, newspapers and photographs help to bring the period to life. The exhibitions also make use of recorded sound.
