The Norwegian Book Town is made up of a dozen second-hand bookshops in the little fjord village of Fjærland and attracts many visitors from around the world. Many of the bookshops are combined with art galleries, cafeterias and craft shops, making a visit here during the summer season well worthwhile. There are more than two hundred and fifty thousand books on sale at any one time. These are in many languages besides Norwegian.
