Nordvågen is a little village in Nordkapp municipality, just a few kilometres south of the cape itself. It is the largest fishing village on the island. During the winter it is one of the best centres for winter sports in the area, offering a slalom slope and ski lift. This is floodlit. There is also an established walking trail from here to the abandoned fishing settlement of Kjelvik, which is popular with hikers.
