Nordtvet Public Baths lie about ten kilometres from the city centre of Oslo. They are easily accessible by metro. The baths were built in the nineteen seventies and form part of a complex of sporting facilities in the area. The pool is tenty five metres in length and the water is heated to twenty eight degrees Celsius. There are sauna and solarium facilities. As well as the pool, the baths offer a fitness centre which offers gym equipment and exercise programmes.
