The Nordfjord Folkemuseum is located in Sandane, the main settlement of Gloppen municipality, and is the chief museum of the district. It contains more than forty old buildings. Most of the buildings, collected from around the region, are from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. There is a permanent exhibition on the history and culture of the area. The museum has a cafeteria.
