Nilhusen is a mountain that lies about thirty minutes drive from Ålesund. It is a popular destination for both locals and visitors who enjoy the outdoor and active life. There are several well marked and maintained trails on the slopes. The footpaths take the walker through forested terrain which supports a variety of flora and fauna. The views from the top are spectacular.
