Nes Church lies by the roadside at Hellem in the municipality of Bjugn. The present church, which is a good size and seats around five hundred people, was built in 1879. The church that previously stood on the site was dismantled and moved. It now serves as Austefjorden chapel. The new church is built of timber and has a high nave and tower, and a "hat style" spire. It also has a small porch attached to the tower.
