The Natural History Museum lies about one kilometre north of Oslo city centre, in the attractive Tøjen Manor area. One of the main attractions it offers is the botanical garden. It contains a wide range of fascinating plants from around the world and an extensive arboretum. Hothouses support exotic flora. It is a fine place to find some peace near the city centre. The museum has seperate botanical, zoological and geological sections. There is a museum shop.
