Mosvik Church is found in rural Trøndelag, central Norway. The present church was completed in 1884. In the interior of the church you will find a statue of St. Michael the Archangel. The church is best known for the "Mosvik Crucifix". This was made around 1250 and is regarded as one of the outstanding pieces of art from its period. What you see here now is a replica. The original is held in Vitenskapsmuseet in Trondheim.
