Mølstertunet Museum lies on the hillside overlooking the town of Voss. It is one of three sites that make up Voss museum. It is an open air museum designed to give the visitor an insight into traditional rural life here. It is made up of sixteen farm buildings that were erected between the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries. These contain a collection of authentic domestic artefacts and agricultural tools. The museum also has a modern building which houses both permanent and temporary exhibitions.
