Located to the north of Odda, the Mågelibanen Funicular Railway is a popular attraction for sightseers, especially during the high summer season. The railway is a "pendulum car" arrangement, where one car goes up and one goes down. You ascend more than 900 metres to the top. The views on the way up, and from the summit, are stunning. You can see the Folgefonna glacier, Hardangerfjord, the Hardangarvidda plateau and Skjeggedal.
