Macks Brewery is the northernmost brewer in the world. It was established in 1877 by Ludvig Mack and is still operating today. The brewery is located cantrally in Tromsø. Visitors may take a tour of the brewery, which lasts about forty minutes, during which you learn about the history of the brewery and the processes used in making fine ales. The tour finishes at Ølhallen, the brewery’s own pub, where you can get down to the all-important task of sampling the wares.
