Lystlunden lies in the heart of the town of Horten, just to the south of the naval base and museums. It is a large park and recreational area used by both locals and visitors. You will find many established trees here, a playground for children, an extensive network of paths, a duck pond and a music pavilion. There is a fifty acre sports complex here, with facilities for football, archery, tennis and athletics.
