The Norwegian Vehicles Museum, located in central Lillehammer, chronicles the history of the Norwegian automobile industry. It contains a locally rebuilt 1900 Olds and one of the last Norwegian built cars, a "Troll" from the 1950s. One section contains a number of horsedrawn vehicles, including carts, gigs and sleds. Novel exhibits include a car powered by steam and an electric car from 1917. The vehicles are exhibited alongside other artefacts that place them in a historical context.
