Ålesund Golf Club lies about thirty kilometres from the city centre, just off the E39 and E136 roads. The club boasts the only eighteen hole golf course in the Sunnmøre region. It is set in attractive natural surroundings and incorporates patches of woodland. There is a driving range here and a well stocked pro shop. Visitors are welcome to play the course upon payment of a green fee. The clubhouse contains a cafe and conference room.
