The Lesja Rural Museum lies just to the south of the village of Lesja. It is made up of thirteen buildings constructed in the style of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Various workshops are contained within these and during the opening season you can watch demonstrations of traditional artisan activity. Exhibitions and domestic demonstrations are found in other buildings. Guided tours are conducted. There are two cafeterias at the museum.
