Lesja Church lies in the centre of the village. The present church dates from 1749. It is famed for its beautifully carved interior. Particularly notable items of interior furniture are the pulpit, chancel screen and altarpiece. These were created by Jacob Berveinson around the time of the consecration of the church. The font comes from an earlier medieval church. This building serves a congregation of the state Lutheran Church.
