Lambertseter Church lies in a suburb to the south of Oslo city centre. It is close to the Munkelia metro station. The church is set in amid established trees. It seats around four hundred. It was consecrated in 1966. The architect was Harald Hille. The unusual altarpiece is in stainless steel and brass. Leading designers were responsible for the vestments and church statues. The church has excellent acoustics, which makes it a popular venue for concerts.
