The Kristiansand Swimming Pool, on Tangen, lies near the harbour in the centre of the historic city. The main pool is twenty five metres in length and has six lanes for swimmers. There is a diving area with boards at heights of one, three and five metres. There is a hot water pool and spa pool which are open at various times. There is a prepared beach outside which is popular in summer. There are special facilities for the disabled.
