Kristiansand Cathedral is found in the heart of the southern Norwegian city, and dominates the local horizon. The church is built in grand neo-Gothic style, with a high nave and an imposing tower that is topped with a copper spire. It was built in 1884 and consecrated in 1885. It seats 1500. The Cathedral hosts classical music concerts and regular organ recitals. It is also possible to take guided tours which include a trip to the top of the tower.
