Åkra Church lies to the south of the regional centre of Rosendal in the municipality of Kvinnherad. The building serves a parish of the established Norwegian Lutheran church. The church dates from 1735 and was substantially extended in 1871. It seats just over 200. The altarpiece was painted by Torvald Moseid. The attractively painted pulpit is from the eighteenth century and is carved in Renaissance style.
