Kjøsterudjuvet Gorge is one of the great natural wonders that is easily accessible from Drammen. It lies a few kilometres due west of the city. The gorge is more than one kilometre long, and climbs more than two hundred metres. At its narrowest points, the gorge is no more than four metres wide. At is its deepest there are walls of rock more than sixty metres high. It presents some adventurous hiking opportunities and is a haven for rock climbers and adventure holidaymakers.
