Kjeungskjær Lighthouse lies off the coast of Ørland municipality and is a familiar landmark to both locals and tourists. The traditional red lighthouse lies on an island off the coast. It was built in 1880. The lighthouse is twenty one metres high. You can get good views of it from the coastal steamer that passes nearby.
