The Kirsten Flagstad Museum is located in the heart of Hamar, just a short distance from the parish church. It is the birthplace and childhood home of internationally acclaimed operatic soprano Kirsten Flagstad, who was particularly famous for her performances in Wagnerian roles. The museum contains many costumes, photographs and personal effects and informs the visitor about the artist’s extraordinary life.
