Karmøy Fisheries Museum lies on the coast of Norawy’s most populous island of Karmøy, and is within easy driving distance of Haugesund. It is housed in a striking modern building designed by the Snøhetta architect’s firm. The museum contains exhibits that show the development of the fishing industry from the Second World War onwards. It also has a saltwater aquarium. There is a cafe, from which you can enjoy stunning views.
