The Iron Age Farm lies three kilometres to the west of Stavanger City Centre. It is a farm complex reconstructed to give an impression of daily life in agriculture in the period between the fourth and sixth centuries A.D. There are three houses here, built with attention to historical detail, which contain the kinds of tools and utensils that would have been found during the period. Actors man the site, dressed in authentic costumes. They demonstrate and describe everyday life in the Iron Age. Children can take part in activities such as making a and spinning wool.
