Hove is located on Tromøy, the island just to the south of Arendal that is linked by road and now forms part of single community. The beach is popular with families. There is a sandy area, and an area of smooth rock. You will find public conveniences here. There is a miniature golf course. There is a kiosk where you can buy drinks and snacks. There are special facilities for disabled people. You will find a playground for children here. Hove is also the location of a new Norwegian music festival.
