Hospitalsløkkan is the area immediately surrounding the medieval hospital of Trondheim, now used as sheltered accommodation, and the oldest social care institution in Scandinavia. There are many highly attractive wooden houses in the vicinity, and it is well worth strolling through. Many of the houses have been beautifully restored and are used as family homes.
