Hornindal Church lies in the heart of the little fjordside town that is about ten miles north west of Stryn. The church serves a parish of the established state Lutheran church of Norway. The attractive building has a small tower in the centre of its roof. It was built in 1856. The renowned artist Dagfinn Werenskiold created the altarpiece "Cross in Bloom". The church welcomes visitors outside service times during the summer months.
