Holsen Church lies in a little village in Førde municipality, a few miles to the east of the town itself. It lies on the banks of a lake. It was built of timber in 1861 and seats two hundred. The architect was J.W. Nordan. The interior contains an altarpiece and pulpit from the mid nineteenth century and a font from 1620. The front door of the church comes from an earlier building and is thought to have been made in the twelfth or thirteenth century.
