Herand Boat Building Museum

Herand is a little fjordside village in Jondal municipality. It lies about ten miles to the north east of Jondal. In one of the harbourside boathouses you will find a boatbuilding museum. You can inspect a traditionally built boat here to learn about the craftmanship involved. There is an extensive exhibition of tools. There is also a display of pictures and text related to the craft.
