Hammerfest and Kvalsund Golf Club lies about fifty kilometres away from Hammerfest itself. It is the northernmost golf course in the world. The course has only six holes, but these have been designed to suit players of a variety of abilities. The extraordinary attraction in playing a game here is that it is possible to play a round at midnight for several weeks every year. The course is open to all upon payment of the green fee.
