Gressholmen is a little island that is situated in Oslo fjord to the south of the city centre. It is a twenty minute journey by ferry. The island was home to the first airport in Norway. The island now serves as a popular retreat with plenty of natural attractions, such as wild rabbits. It is a good place to go for a walk. There is a harbour and marina on the northern coast. The island has an inn that serves good food and drink.
