Glomdal Museum lies near to the centre of Elverum. It benefits from an attractive riverside location. The museum is made up of more than ninety buildings originating from all over Østerdalen and Solør districts. With more than 1500 square metres of exhibition space it is one of Norway’s largest open air museums. Guided tours of the buildings are available. There is a traditional inn here where you can buy good food and drink. A wide range of interesting souvenirs is for sale.
