The Gaustablikk Ski Centre lies just outside the Telemark tourist centre of Rjukan. It is at the foot of the famous Gaustatoppen mountain. Established in 1990, the centre offers twenty one ski runs, of varying levels of difficulty, with seven ski lifts. There are many kilometres of prepared and established cross country ski trails. It offers good quality snow for an extended season and is used by national skiing teams. The apres ski culture here is lively during the season.
