The Gamle Hvam Museum is housed in the buildings of an old farm that has been cultivate for more than a thousand years. The museum features a preserved interior from the early eighteenth century which gives an insight into how a prosperous landowner would have lived at that time. It also holds a collection of agricultural machinery and equipment, reconstructed craft workshops and an exhibition about daily life in the region during World War II. The museum has a cafe and a shop.
