Gallery Format lies in a city centre location in Oslo. It was established in 1991. It represents an association of more than three hundred artisans from all over Norway who produce high quality works in ceramics, textiles, wood, glass and metal. The designs are sometimes purely decorative, and sometimes functional. The Oslo gallery is one of two that presents a selection of some of the finest work of members in temporary exhibitions that change several times a year. The other Format gallery is in Bergen.
