Galleri Osebro lies near the centre of Porsgrunn, on the banks of the Telemark canal. The gallery was founded in 1990 in order to provide a showcase for the best in contemporary painting and sculpture. The gallery also plays host to exhibitions of glass, ceramics, and textiles produced locally. It holds ten exhibitions per year. Since it was opened more than one hundred and fifty artists have been represented here.
