Galleri Ismene lies out to the west of Trondheim’s historic city centre, not far from the banks of Trondheim fjord. It was founded in 1982. The gallery benefits from a light and modern interior. It hosts a range of changing temporary exhibitions. These showcase all that is best in Norwegian contemporary art. The gallery has a particularly strong reputation in graphics and lithography. As well as Norwegian art, foreign works are on display.
