Galleri Brandstrup lies a little to the north and west of Oslo City Centre, not far from Frogner Park. It is surrounded by delightful woodland. It is a short walk from the Vigelund sculpture park, one of the top attractions in the capital. It is housed in part of a historic manor house that was built in 1850. The gallery hosts exhibitions of leading contemporary artists from all over the world, with a particular emphasis on works from the Nordic world. There is an excellent restaurant here.
