Frogner Church lies about a mile to the north and west of Oslo city centre. It is located on the main thoroughfare of Bygdøy alle. It is very unusual in being one of the few Norwegian churches to be built between apartment buildings. It was designed Ivar Næss, and consecrated in 1907. The exterior architecture is imitative of the Romanesque. It is renowned as one of the most beautiful churches in the city. The interior features highly attractive circular stained glass windows.
