Fotogalleriet is the only gallery dedicated exclusively to photography in Oslo. It is located in the city centre, a short walk from the central railway station. It was established in 1977. It mounts exhibitions of the best work in photographic art from Norway and overseas. The gallery has an extensive library related to photography, which visitors are welcome to make use of. The gallery plays host to special events and competitions.
