Fossesholm Manor lies in Vestfossen, a couple of miles south of Hokksund along the main number 35 highway. The manor house is one of the great stately homes of Norway and the chief attraction of the area. It contains a wealth of beautiful eighteenth century furniture and a fine collection of German paintings from this period. Guided tours are conducted of the premises. The estate buildings are used for art exhibitions. You will find a cafe and shops here.
