The famous fish market in Bergen is a popular draw for tourists. It is held in the city square, which is a stone’s throw from the harbour and historic houses of Bryggen. As the name suggests, it is a fine place to pick up fresh fish recently landed by the local fishermen. There are also a range of other stalls selling fruit, vegetables and flowers.
